Hi, I’m Altair, a Senior Software Engineer who usually ends up working across whatever parts of the system need attention.

I’m currently Head of Engineering at UNIVERSA AI, where I started as a Senior AI Engineer. A lot of my work is taking a defined workflow, figuring out what it means technically, and turning it into something the team can actually build and ship.

I tend to end up with the parts that nobody quite owns. Usually it’s something sitting between systems that were never really supposed to talk to each other, or something that looked simple until we actually had to build it.

That’s probably the common thread in my work.

I write here about software, AI, work, and whatever rabbit hole I happen to be in.

I’m currently open to remote Senior Software Engineer and adjacent IC roles.
